Why Making Your Art Really Matters

Do you keep up with the world news?

It’s been pretty rough lately. I go in and out of wanting to keep up with the news. There is so much violence, anger, unrest and total ruin reported that it is hard to take it all in.

For me I must counterbalance with uplifting news that is real and exemplifies hope, goodness, and the kindness of humanity.

However, the state of the news and world does fortify my resolve to encourage, educate, and inspire artists even more because my core belief is that you are an agent of change and pursuing and sharing your art matters.

Why does it matter?

It matters that you allow your creative instincts to thrive and learn more about who you are in this life.

It matters to the people who enjoy, purchase, and live with your art.

It matters to bring our communities together and build our cultural heritage.

It matters to making your statement and leaving your creative legacy.

It matters to living a life of meaning, purpose, hope, and happiness.

It matters to contribute your message to effect change in the world around you.

So, it matters — a lot, in my opinion.

Ask yourself this . . .

What would your life, community, and world be like if artists chose not to pursue their art?

Or, are you dulling or ignoring your inner voice calling you to create your art?

Take just a moment to let this voice speak up and be heard.

Allow this very moment to be the perfect time to take your next step (or leap) as an artist because it actually does matter.

Your art can be just what someone else needs to inspire their own life and make their difference in the world.

To help you get where you want to go in your art career I am developing courses over at The Artists’ Mentor including Your Artists’ Journey by Mike Brennan.

Mike’s course in particular will give you the tools to find your voice and your style and build your creative confidence through daily art practice.

“Great things are done by a series
of small things brought together.”
— Vincent Van Gogh

Meet Mike here and get all the details about his course…

Think of these courses as new team members on your side to help you grow in your art practice and business.

More courses (team members) are on the way to help on variety of topics. As soon as they are ready I will let you know.

In the meantime, please keep creating and sharing your art. It really matters.

Bonnie 🙂

p.s. I am considering creating a series of free online art biz chats to help you with your art career. This would be an opportunity to connect with me and guest instructors live to ask questions.
